Home Visits. 25.15.1 Home visits shall only be performed under the following circumstances:
25.15.1.1 Unit member shall receive a stipend of $40 for each home visit performed outside the unit member’s regularly scheduled work hours.
25.15.1.2 Mileage reimbursement at the current Internal Revenue Code rate shall be paid to unit members.
25.15.1.3 A unit member may request accompaniment by another authorized individual for a home visit. The district office shall make every effort to fulfill this request. In the event that another authorized individual is not available, then the home visit shall be rescheduled to a time when the second authorized individual is available. If the second authorized individual is a unit member, that individual shall also receive the $40 home visit stipend.
25.15.2 Effective with the ratification of the agreement, EED staff shall be notified of state or federal requirements for home visits prior to any regulatory requirement to perform them.
25.15.3 The District shall assume all liability related to home visits by all unit members to the extent required by law.
25.15.4 Personnel records that are required by Community Care Licensing for licensing purposes, shall be maintained securely and locked at the EED sites and only be made available for compliance review purposes. These files shall only contain records required by Community Care Licensing. They shall exclude job ratings and evaluations and shall not constitute a waiver of any rights related to a unit member’s personnel file established in the Education Code.
Home Visits a. Each Bargaining Unit Member who is eligible to conduct home visits of students shall be paid $60 per visit. To be eligible for payment the teacher shall comply with the regulations established by the Superintendent as to the matters to be covered during the visit and reporting requirements following the visit. Bargaining unit members shall not use extended service time for home visits.
b. Payment for home visits shall be made no later than the second pay period subsequent to the submission of the reports of such visits.
Home Visits. Employees of the Adult Parole Authority and the Department of Youth Services shall not be required to make home visits alone after 6:00 p.m. Employees of the Adult Parole Authority, the Department of Youth Services and the Rehabilitation Services Commission may request back up help in making home visits prior to 6:00 p.m. in areas which are dangerous. That back up help shall be provided or the client's appointment shall be rescheduled in the office.
Home Visits. Home visits by employees are an expectation in some programs and at times desirable in other programs. Employees who have reason for concern for their personal safety in visiting or supplying program support in a specific home may initiate the following procedure:
1. The employee should discuss the nature and basis of his/her concerns with the employee's building or program supervisor.
2. After the discussion with the supervisor, a safety plan will be developed by the supervisor with input from the employee. Such plan may include accompaniment by another staff member or other procedures deemed necessary and appropriate.
Home Visits a. Regular two hour home visits will be offered to parents at their request to provide consistency of programming across environments. Home visits will be scheduled during Professional Staff working hours with no additional compensation to Professional Staff who conduct home visits. If home visits cannot be scheduled during normal working hours, an explanation must be provided to the Executive Director in writing prior to the home visit. Professional Staff who conduct home visits outside normal working hours will be compensated at the rate of fifty dollars ($50.00) per home visit. Should the hours of the home visit begin during school hours and end after work day hours, the compensations will be prorated to 50%.

Home Visits. Employees may choose to permit home visits.
Home Visits. Teachers are encouraged to conduct home visits during the year in cases of primary significance. Teachers may request to be accompanied by a principal, school nurse, counselor, or other home liaison person.
Home Visits. You may request that the visit occur in Your home. In situations where FCIM considers such a visit reasonably necessary and appropriate, FCIM will make every reasonable effort to comply with Your request. Similarly, if you are using an a la carte service and request a home visit, and it is thought to be reasonably necessary and appropriate, an effort to comply with the request will be made. For a la carte home visits, an additional fee will apply.
Home Visits. If Fighting Chance provides Support Coordination services in your home, we will ask that you: ● Ensure the home is safe for sta (e.g. ensure pets are controlled). ● Provide a smoke, drug and violence free environment whilst sta are in your home. ● Clear rubbish and dangerous materials from the area where the service is to take place. ● Inform sta if other people will be present during the visit. ● Ensure all people in the house, whilst the service is being provided, are respectful towards others.
