Changes to Dues Deductions. Employee requests to cancel or change authorizations 17 for payroll deductions for the Association shall be directed to the Association rather than 18 to the District. The Association shall be responsible for processing these requests. The 19 District shall rely on information provided by the Association regarding whether 20 deductions for the Association were properly canceled or changed. The employee 21 organization shall indemnify the public school employer for any claims made by the 22 employee for deductions made in reliance on that information.

  • Dues Deductions 47. Dues deductions, once initiated, shall continue until the authorization is revoked in writing by the employee. For the administrative convenience of the City and the Association, an employee may only revoke a dues authorization by delivering the notice of revocation to the Controller during the two week period prior to the expiration of this Agreement. The revocation notice shall be delivered to the Controller either in person at the Controller's office or by depositing it in the U.S. Mail addressed to the Payroll/Personnel Services Division, Office of the Controller, 000 Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxx, San Francisco, CA 94103; Attention: Dues Deduction. The City shall deliver a copy of the notices of revocation of dues deductions authorizations to the Association within two (2) weeks of receipt.

  • Deduction of Dues An employee, who is or who may become a member of the Union, may execute a written authorization providing that a portion of his wages representing monthly dues be withheld weekly and forwarded to the Union. Upon receiving a properly executed Authorization Form from an employee, the Commission or appropriate designee shall notify the Chief Financial officer or appropriate designee to deduct from wages due, the amount authorized. Each month, a check for the amount of all dues deducted, along with a current list of members from whose wages dues deductions have been made, shall be transmitted to the Secretary/Treasurer of the Union as follows: New England P.B.A. Corporate Office, 000 Xxxxxxxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxxxxxx 00000. The deduction shall be only in the amount certified in writing by the President or the Secretary/Treasurer of the Union, as representing monthly dues uniformly required as a condition of acquiring or retaining membership. An employee who executes such authorization form shall continue to have such deductions made from his wages during the term of the Agreement or until he notifies the Commission or designee in writing, with a copy to the Union, that the Authorization Form is being revoked, and the employee thus withdraws the authority for the deduction of dues. Dues deductions shall be made without cost to the employee or the Union. Dues deductions shall be subordinate to deductions required by law. No deductions shall be made if an employee has insufficient wages in any pay period. Neither the Commission nor the City of Nashua shall be responsible for deducting any arrearage in dues owed to the Union by a member. Deductions shall automatically terminate upon the occurrence of any of the following events:

  • Dues Deduction 6.2.1 The District shall deduct, in accordance with the CSEA dues and service fee schedule approved by the CSEA delegates, dues from the wages of all employees who are members of CSEA on the date of the execution of this Agreement, and who have submitted dues authorization forms to the District.

  • Overtime Pay Calculation Overtime shall not be claimed or received for less than fifteen (15) minutes. If overtime amounts to fifteen (15) minutes, or more, it shall be paid for the total period.

  • Union Dues Deductions It shall be a condition of employment for all Nurses in the Bargaining Unit, that dues be deducted from their bi-weekly salary in the amount determined by the Union. The deductions for newly employed Nurses shall be in the first pay period of employment. The dues shall be submitted monthly to the Union together with a list of the Nurses from whom the deductions were made.

  • Calculation of Charges Contractor shall provide an invoice to the City on a monthly basis for goods delivered and/or Services completed in the immediate preceding month, unless a different schedule is set out in Appendix B, “Calculation of Charges.” Compensation shall be made for goods and/or Services identified in the invoice that the City, in his or her sole discretion, concludes has been satisfactorily performed. In no event shall the amount of this Agreement exceed [insert whole dollar amount in numbers and words -- no pennies and no “.00”]. The breakdown of charges associated with this Agreement appears in Appendix B, “Calculation of Charges.” A portion of payment may be withheld until conclusion of the Agreement if agreed to by both Parties as retainage, described in Appendix B. In no event shall City be liable for interest or late charges for any late payments. City will not honor minimum service order charges for any services covered by this Agreement.

  • Proration of calculations If less than total program funding is subject to interest calculation procedures, the resulting interest liability calculations shall be prorated to 100% of program funding.

  • Salary Deductions Salaried employees (E-level classifications) who are permanently assigned to full-time job classifications are paid on a bi-weekly salary basis. Salaried employees are paid a bi-weekly salary based on a minimum of two (2) forty (40) hour workweeks. The bi-weekly salary received by salaried employees will not be reduced regardless of the number of hours the salaried employee actually works in any week in which the salaried employee performs any work except for the following deductions:

  • PAYROLL DEDUCTION OF DUES 4.1: On receipt of a lawfully executed written authorization from an employee, on a form approved by the City’s Director, General Accounting Division, the City will deduct each pay period from the employee’s pay, the amount specified by said employee, but not less than regular dues.
