Charges to beneficiaries. (1) The beneficiary is responsible for payment of a coinsurance amount which is 20 percent of the amount of Part B pay- ment made to the Federally qualified health center for the covered services. There is no coinsurance for a second or third opinion obtained in accordance with section 1164 of the Act or for pneu- mococcal vaccine and its administra- tion.
Charges to beneficiaries. The clinic agrees not to charge the beneficiary or any other person for items and services for which the beneficiary is entitled to have payment made under the provi- sions of this part (or for which the ben- eficiary would have been entitled if the rural health clinic had filed a request for payment in accordance with § 410.165 of this chapter), except for any deductible or coinsurance amounts for which the beneficiary is liable under § 405.2410.

(3) The FQHC agrees not to charge the beneficiary (or any other person acting on behalf of a beneficiary) for any FQHC services for which the bene- ficiary is entitled to have payment made on his or her behalf by the Medi- care program (or for which the bene- ficiary would have been entitled if the FQHC had filed a request for payment in accordance with § 410.165 of this chapter), except for coinsurance amounts. (4) The FQHC may charge the bene- ficiary for items and services that are not FQHC services. If the item or serv- ice is covered under Medicare Part B, the FQHC may not charge the bene- ficiary more than 20 percent of the Part B payment amount.

  • Intended Beneficiaries Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to give any person or entity other than the parties hereto any legal or equitable claim, right or remedy. Rather, this Agreement is intended to be for the sole and exclusive benefit of the parties hereto.

  • No Intended Third Party Beneficiaries This Agreement is entered into solely for the benefit of you and us. No third party will be deemed a beneficiary of this Agreement, and no third party will have the right to make any claim or assert any right under this Agreement. Whenever a teacher is absent from duty as a result of personal injury caused by an accident or an assault and/or battery upon the teacher arising out of and in the course of employment, the teacher will be paid full salary (less the amount of any worker's compensation paid for said injury) for the period of such absence not to exceed 189 working days.
