Chief Academic Officer Level. After reviewing the complete record, the Chief Academic Officer will forward their written recommendation to the President who will then make a recommendation to the Board of Trustees. In the event of a negative recommendation, any deadlines for notification or action required by the Board of Trustees will be extended until completion of the reconsideration process. If the Chief Academic Officer’s recommendation is negative, the faculty member will be informed in writing of the reasons. In the case of a nontenure recommendation, the faculty member has the right to a two-step Reconsideration process.
