Chief Stewards leave of absence with current pay, benefits and without loss of seniority will be granted to one (1) chief stewards for up to a combined maximum total of three (3) days per year to deal with Collective Agreement related problems on the work sites within the contract area. Further leaves will be granted as required as per Clause 2.10(a)(2).
The Vice-President The Vice President shall have such powers and perform such duties as the Member may from time to time prescribe or as the President may from time to time delegate to him or her. At the request of the President, the Vice President may temporarily act in place of the President. In the case of the death, absence, or inability to act of the President, the Member may designate the Vice President to perform the duties of the President.
Vice President In the absence of the President or in the event of the President’s inability to act, the Vice President, if any (or in the event there be more than one Vice President, the Vice Presidents in the order designated by the Directors, or in the absence of any designation, then in the order of their election), shall perform the duties of the President, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the President. Transfer to Directors and Senior Officers (1) You may transfer escrow securities within escrow to existing or, upon their appointment, incoming directors or senior officers of the Issuer or any of its material operating subsidiaries, if the Issuer’s board of directors has approved the transfer.
