Chief of Police Review. a. If the grievance is not settled by the commanding officer at Step 1, the League may serve written notice of the grievance on said form upon the Employee Relations Administrator, within 20 calendar days following receipt of the Step 1 grievance response. Failure of the League to serve notice shall result in the loss of the right to process the grievance.
