Childbirth/Adoption of Infant Leave. A. A full-time faculty member may be granted up to six (6) months leave for the birth or adoption of an infant as provided for employees of the College. Also refer to Section 12.7 – Family Medical Leave B. The employee is authorized to use accumulated vacation leave, sick leave, and/or personal leave with or without pay to cover any or all of the leave time. Once the paid leave has been exhausted, the employee will be placed on personal leave without pay. C. Sick leave pool days may not be used to cover any of the leave time for childbirth or the adoption of an infant, unless there is a related health condition. See Section 12.13 –
