Children in Care, Special Education, School Aged Children Not in School. (1) The Parties agree to develop strategies to address the educational outcomes of the following: a) First Nation children in care; b) First Nation students with special education needs; and c) school aged First Nation children not attending school or at risk of not attending school. (2) Further, the Parties agree to work with the necessary federal, provincial and First Nation agencies and professionals to enhance or develop culturally-appropriate, comprehensive and coordinated approaches that: a) are school-based or school-linked; b) maintain the culture, language and identity; and c) improve educational outcomes for these First Nation children.

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • COVID-19 Vaccine Passports Pursuant to Texas Health and Safety Code, Section 161.0085(c), Contractor certifies that it does not require its customers to provide any documentation certifying the customer’s COVID-19 vaccination or post-transmission recovery on entry to, to gain access to, or to receive service from the Contractor’s business. Contractor acknowledges that such a vaccine or recovery requirement would make Contractor ineligible for a state-funded contract.

  • Multi-Year Planning The CAPS will be in a form acceptable to the LHIN and may be required to incorporate (1) prudent multi-year financial forecasts; (2) plans for the achievement of performance targets; and (3) realistic risk management strategies. It will be aligned with the LHIN’s then current Integrated Health Service Plan and will reflect local LHIN priorities and initiatives. If the LHIN has provided multi-year planning targets for the HSP, the CAPS will reflect the planning targets.

  • School Closure The following shall apply in the event of an NPS school closure due to an emergency consistent with guidelines followed by LEAs under Education Code Section 41422 and 46392: In the event of a NPS School Closure for the reasons set forth in Education Code section 41422, if the LEA is able to obtain alternative placement for the student, CONTRACTOR shall not receive payment for days the student is not in attendance due to CONTRACTOR’S school closure. If the LEA is unable to obtain an alternative placement, CONTRACTOR shall receive payment consistent with the student’s approved ISA, contingent upon the provision of agreed upon services consistent with the Emergency Circumstances documented in the pupil’s IEP in accordance with Education Code section 56345(a)(9). When the emergency school closure is lifted, CONTRACTOR shall notify the LEAs it serves of any lost instructional minutes. CONTRACTOR and XXXx shall work collaboratively to determine the need for make-up days or service changes, and shall work together to amend IEP and ISA paperwork as appropriate.

  • Resident Educator Program The four-year program is designed to provide newly licensed Ohio educators quality mentoring and guidance. Successful completion of the residency program is required to advance to a five-year professional educator license.
