Common use of Civic Service Clause in Contracts

Civic Service. Certificated employees shall be encouraged to take an active part in civic 37 organizations. Such activity, however, should be outside of the regular school hours. 38 Certificated employees who are called upon occasionally to take regular school time for club 39 or community service may do so with prior approval of their immediate administrator.
