Common use of Closures Clause in Contracts

Closures. The HUB Child & Family Centres observe all Ontario Public Holiday’s under the Employment Standards Act, 2020. The HUB takes part in board approved professional development and team building days of which ample notice is given. Christmas Holiday closures will be given with appropriate notice. The HUB Child Care Centres observe the following stat days: New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday (Professional Development Day), Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas & Boxing Day. Parents will be required to pay for the 10 stat holidays listed above with an exception to the professional development day.
