Co-operate to Adjust Grievances. It is agreed that grievances and disputes relative to the interpretation, application, operation or alleged violation of the Article and Clauses of this Agreement which may arise during the life of this Agreement, shall be promptly discussed and the parties hereto will diligently cooperate in an effort to adjust such grievances at the earliest possible time. In order to facilitate the foregoing the parties agree to abide by the following:

  • ADJUSTMENT OF GRIEVANCES 26.01 Any complaint, disagreement or difference of opinion between the Employer and the Union, or the employees covered by this Agreement, which concerns the interpretation, application, operation or alleged violation of the terms and provisions of this Agreement, shall be considered as a grievance.

  • Consolidation of Grievances If the grievance involves a group of employees or if a number of employees file separate grievances on the same matter, the grievances shall, whenever possible, be handled as a single grievance.

  • Settlement of Grievances The applicable procedures of this Agreement shall be followed for the settlement of all grievances. All grievances shall be considered carefully and processed promptly.

  • Resolution of Grievances In the event of a grievance related to a matter of discipline or any dispute as to the interpretation, application or observance of the provisions of this Agreement other than discipline, it shall be handled in the following manner:

If no notice of intent to arbitrate is filed within the time limit, the right to arbitrate is thereby waived.
