Collection of Back Dues. The Company agrees to collect back dues which are owed from employees, upon proper notification by the Union, by collecting up to one month of back dues. If an employee is in arrears in excess of one month’s dues, it shall be the responsibility of the Union to collect such sums.

Collection of Back Dues. Collection of any back dues owed at ----------------------- the time of starting deductions for an employee, collection of dues missed because the employee's earnings were not sufficient to cover the payment of dues for a particular pay period, and collection of dues missed because of accidental errors in the accounting procedure, will be the responsibility of the Union and will not be the subject of payroll deduction. It will be the Union's responsibility to verify apparent errors with the individual Union member before the representative contacts the Company's Manager of Payroll.
