College-Preparatory. All curriculum is selected and designed with the aim of providing students with the content knowledge and cognitive skills to be successful at competitive colleges and universities. The department leads will oversee the creation of all instructional planning, ensuring that intentional and aligned adjustments have been made. By utilizing the Advanced Placement and ACT standards, KCH will ensure that all courses push students’ thinking and develop deep conceptual understanding.

College-Preparatory. The Upper School instructional program will feature a college preparatory curriculum that prepares its graduates to succeed in college, pursue meaningful careers, and participate in our democracy. In addition to an integrated, thematic middle school curriculum in Division I, a unique feature of Los Ositos’ Upper School program will be a series of innovative UC-certified alternatives to the standard A- G course sequence. The University of California has an extensive support system in place that encourages school-level innovation in developing college-prep courses that are interdisciplinary, project-based, career-focused, and internship-based. As detailed on the UC Office of the President website (xxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx/doorways/), this support system includes three types of innovations:

  • Site Preparation Contractor shall not begin a project for which the site has not been prepared, unless Contractor does the preparation work at no cost, or until Region 4 ESC includes the cost of site preparation in a purchase order. Site preparation includes, but is not limited to: moving furniture, installing wiring for networks or power, and similar pre-installation requirements.

  • Surface Preparation Clean the surface to be treated of all dust, dirt, clay, grass, sod and any other deleterious matter before application of the asphalt surface treatment.

  • Professional Preparation and Scholarship The certificated classroom teacher exhibits, in his/her performance, evidence of having a theoretical background and knowledge of the principles and methods of teaching, and a commitment to education as a profession.

  • Proposal Preparation The contractor shall assume all costs associated with preparation of proposals for task order awards under the proposal process as an indirect charge (B&P costs). The Government will not reimburse awardees for proposals as a direct charge.

  • DOCUMENT PREPARATION The Transfer/Deed shall, save for the Land Transfer Tax Affidavit, be prepared in registrable form at the expense of Seller, and any Charge/Mortgage to be given back by the Buyer to Seller at the expense of the Buyer. If requested by Buyer, Seller covenants that the Transfer/Deed to be delivered on completion shall contain the statements contemplated by Section 50(22) of the Planning Act, R.S.O.1990.

  • Searchability Offering searchability capabilities on the Directory Services is optional but if offered by the Registry Operator it shall comply with the specification described in this section.

  • Preparations No more than three (3) preparations per professor per term shall be the goal of the District and the Association. If more than three (3) preparations are necessary to meet particular needs of students or to meet the unique needs of a department, such additional preparations will only be assigned by the appropriate administrator following discussion with all affected members of the department. When such additional preparations are necessary, they shall be distributed equitably among department members.

  • Monitoring In each case in which the Foreign Custody Manager maintains Foreign Assets with an Eligible Foreign Custodian selected by the Foreign Custody Manager, the Foreign Custody Manager shall establish a system to monitor (i) the appropriateness of maintaining the Foreign Assets with such Eligible Foreign Custodian and (ii) the contract governing the custody arrangements established by the Foreign Custody Manager with the Eligible Foreign Custodian. In the event the Foreign Custody Manager determines that the custody arrangements with an Eligible Foreign Custodian it has selected are no longer appropriate, the Foreign Custody Manager shall notify the Board in accordance with Section 3.2.5 hereunder.

  • Program Monitoring The Contractor will make all records and documents required under this Agreement as outlined here, in OEC Policies and NHECC Policies available to the SRO or its designee, the SR Fiscal Officer or their designee and the OEC. Scheduled monitoring visits will take place twice a year. The SRO and OEC reserve the right to make unannounced visits.

  • Planning and Preparation 1. Uses established local and the Core Curriculum Standards and Cumulative Progress Indicators as well as established local and state curriculum objectives in planning lessons.
