COLLEGE’S RIGHTS/ASSOCIATION RIGHTS. ‌ Section 1. College Rights Under Federal and State Law and Board Policy‌ A. Except as expressly limited in this Agreement, the Board and its Administration, on their own behalf, and on behalf of the electors of the District, hereby retain and reserve all powers, rights, duties and responsibilities conferred upon and vested in them by the constitution and laws of the State of Michigan and the United States and by the policies of the West Shore Community College Board of Trustees. It is understood that such powers, rights, duties, and responsibilities may and will be exercised by the College so as to maintain the College as efficiently and at the lowest cost possible, consistent with the relevant statutes and with this Collective Bargaining Agreement.
