Common use of Commencement of Grid Rate Clause in Contracts

Commencement of Grid Rate. 5.2.1. Rate of pay for a substitute teacher who fills the same teaching position for more than four (4) consecutive teaching days shall be paid one two-hundredth (1/200th) of their grid salary beginning on the fifth (5th) day.

Commencement of Grid Rate. 5.2.1. 5.2.1 Rate of pay for a teacher employed on a substitute teacher basis who fills the same teaching position for more than four (4) consecutive teaching days school days, shall be paid one two-hundredth (1/200th) of their grid salary beginning on effective the fifth (5th) dayday according to placement on the salary grid subject to the terms of this agreement. 5.2.2 In determining the placement on the grid, a substitute teacher shall provide evidence of teacher education and teaching experience in accordance with the provisions of Articles 3.3 and 3.4 (depending on the effective dates).
