Commencement of Grid Rate. 5.2.1 In the case of a substitute being employed more than five (5) consecutive instructional days in the same classroom, commencing on the sixth day and each day thereafter, the rate of pay shall be in accordance with training and experience as set forth in Article 3.2. 5.2.2 The period of consecutive employment during the school year shall not be considered interrupted or non-consecutive, if a holiday, teachers’ convention, professional day or such other system- regulated breaks interrupt the substitute teacher’s continuity in the classroom.
