Commercial Umbrella Policy (Occurrence). An umbrella policy may cover the aggregate policy limits required herein. There must be no gap between the $1 million and $3 million dollar policy limits and the umbrella policy must follow the form of the underly ing $1 million primary policy. The Contractor’s policy containing coverage amounts with higher limits than stated above will satisfy the requirements of this paragraph. The foregoing policies shall contain a provision that coverage afforded under the policies will not be canceled, or not renewed or allowed to lapse for any reason until at least 10 days prior written notice has been given to the Department. Certificates of Insurance showing such coverage to be in force shall be filed with the Department prior to commencement of any work under this Contract. The foregoing policies shall be obtained from insurance companies licensed to do business in Georgia and shall be with companies acceptable to the Department. All such coverage shall remain in full force and effect during the initial term of the Contract and any renewal or extension thereof. At all times, coverage shall be within limits acceptable to the Department. PARA #127 DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE: (128) 04/01/18 A. If Contractor is an individual, he or she hereby certifies that he or she will not engage in the unlawful manufacture, sale, distribution, dispensation, possession, or use of a controlled substance or marijuana during the performance of this Contract. B. If Contractor is an entity other than an individual, it hereby certifies that it will comply with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 (Public Law 100-690, Title V, Subtitle D; 41 U.S.C. 701 et seq.) and that: (1) A drug-free workplace will be provided for the Contractor's employees during the performance of this Contract; and (2) It will secure from any subcontractor hired to work in a drug-free workplace the following written certification: “As part of the subcontracting agreement with (Contractor's Name), (Subcontractor's Name), certifies to the Contractor that a drug-free workplace will be provided for the subcontractor's employees during the performance of this Contract pursuant to paragraph 7 of subsection B of O.C.G.A. § 50-24-3". The policy shall be endorsed to include the following additional insured language: “The State of Arizona, its departments, agencies, boards, commissions, universities and its officers, officials, agents, and employees shall be named as additional insureds with respect to liability arising out of the activities performed by or on behalf of the Consultant.” Such additional insured shall be covered to the full limits of liability purchased by the Consultant, even if those limits of liability are in excess of those required by this Contract. c. The policy shall contain a waiver of subrogation endorsement in favor of the State of Arizona, its departments, agencies, boards, commissions, universities and its officers, officials, agents, and employees for losses arising from work performed by or on behalf of the Consultant.

  • Commercial General Liability Insurance Policy Provide a Commercial General Liability Insurance Policy, including contractual liability, in adequate quantity to protect against legal liability arising out of contract activity but no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence. Additionally, the CONTRACTOR is responsible for ensuring that any subcontractors provide adequate insurance coverage for the activities arising out of subcontracts.

  • Excess/Umbrella Liability Policies Required insurance coverage limits may be provided through a combination of primary and excess/umbrella liability policies.
