COMMUNICATION AND POLICY CHANGE. 6.2.1 When changes are made with reference to district policy, the Association will be notified of such changes and, if possible, will have prior notification. Employees are required to comply with Board Policies. Board Policy, when in conflict with the Master Contract, is superseded by the Master Contract.

COMMUNICATION AND POLICY CHANGE. ‌ 18-1 When changes are to be made with reference to District Policy, the Association will be notified of such changes and if possible will have prior notification. 18-2 The Association shall be notified in writing of new or existing administrative or teaching position vacancies. Notices of vacancies shall first be advertised within the district and remain open for a minimum of five (5) days. (2017) 18-3 However, if a vacancy occurs between August 1st and September 1st, the Board of School Trustees and the Administration reserve the right to waive the five-day advertising requirement for each position becoming vacant should the Administration deem it necessary for the continuity of instruction. However, should such advertising period be waived, the administration will notify the President of the Xxxxxxxxx County Education Association by mail of each incident and post such notice for each vacancy in the district office.
