DISTRICT POLICY. The Board of Education acknowledges it's obligation to propose and establish policies for the District, to direct the administration to disseminate such policy to the school sites and the Association, and to manage the District in accordance with such policies.
DISTRICT POLICY. District policy, practices, and regulations in respect to class size, hours, and workload not specifically modified herein, will not be changed by the District without agreement with the Federation.
DISTRICT POLICY. The Board shall give reasonable advance notice to the Association of any change in existing policy or procedures, or of any new policy or procedures, which affect wages, hours, terms or conditions of employment. Notification of such changes will be made in accordance with the policy adoption procedure of the Board.
DISTRICT POLICY. It is understood that District policy and procedure shall be made available to all employees electronically. Employees shall be notified of any new or revised personnel policies or student policies that affect them. Notification may be via a District newsletter, employee handbook or other electronic means distributed to the general school population. Departments with non-English speaking employees will make hard copies of these policies and procedures available to these employees.
DISTRICT POLICY. This agreement constitutes school district policy for the term of said agreement and the school district will carry out the commitments contained herein and give them full force and effect as school district policy.
DISTRICT POLICY. A. There will be an updated copy of the Board Policy Book online and Administrative Regulations will be updated as needed to each of the following people: President of the Teachers Association, Chief Negotiator, Chairperson of Grievance, Unit President in each school building.
B. Faculty handbooks shall be updated by September 1 of each year.
C. Professional personnel will be expected to adhere to and enforce district and building policies as stated in the appropriate handbooks.
D. Maintenance of Standards Prior to changes in district policy concerning compensation, length of day, current policy on class size, and other factors with influence professional’s terms and conditions of employment, the President of the Teachers Association will be contacted and the Association will have opportunity to advise the Superintendent and the Board of Education, and make recommendations concerning such anticipated changes. District policy is defined as those policies and regulations only that appear in the Board Policy Book.
DISTRICT POLICY. This Agreement constitutes School District policy for the terms and conditions of employment for the employees. Any other terms or conditions of employment that are mandatory subjects of bargaining not mentioned in the Agreement, shall remain within the jurisdiction of School District Policy subject to the review and approval of the Association. The District and the Association are pledged to carry out the commitments contained in this Agreement. The terms and conditions of this Agreement shall take precedence over District or Association policy. Each party shall take such action as necessary in order to give full force and effect to the provisions of this Agreement.
DISTRICT POLICY. This Amended Lease is expressly subject to District Policy FBC.
DISTRICT POLICY. By September 28, 2018, the District will develop and/or revise its Section 504 policies and procedures concerning the assignment and duties/functions of inclusion teachers to ensure adherence to procedures that satisfy the requirements of Section 504 and Title II, specifically, with respect to ensuring that special education teachers provide a free appropriate public education to their assigned students. Subsequent to OCR’s review and approval, these policies will be included in the District’s publications, including the Student Handbook and District website.i
DISTRICT POLICY. Any district policy changes from those detailed in the School Division’s most current policy handbook, or adopted School Division minutes, affecting teachers, shall be provided to the Teacher Welfare Committee for review and with the exception of interim emergency policies, the teachers shall have the opportunity to make representations to the School Division prior to the adoption of any policy.
