Community Risk Reduction Employees. There shall be a set work week, commencing no earlier than 0700 and concluding no later than 1800 for Community Risk Reduction employees shall be forty (40) hours plus a one-half (½) hour daily lunch. The scheduled work week may be modified by mutual, written agreement between the Fire Rescue Administrator and Union President. This starting and concluding time shall not apply to employees who are assigned to the Investigation Bureau. Except for the Investigations Bureau, the Community Risk Reduction Division shall be allowed to work a four (4) ten (10) hour day schedule, Monday through Friday. The Department’s Fire Marshal shall evaluate the program to determine the effectiveness of its implementation. Should it be determined that the four (4) ten (10) hour day program is not beneficial to the Department, the Fire Rescue Administrator may choose to discontinue the program and return to the previous work schedule. The County maintains the authority to move or change an assignment or work schedule based on performance which is based on observed occurrences after counseling has occurred.

Such SPD shall be provided no less than biennially and prior to the beginning of the insurance year.   • GROUP INSURANCE PLANS 15.01 The Company agrees to provide all full time employees with one (1) or more years of continuous service, a *Short Term Disability Benefit (S.T.D.) as generally described in Section B of a notice to all employees of the amended Benefit Plan dated May 1, 1993. *Payment for Short Term Disability shall begin on the third (3rd) consecutive day of absence. For those employees who have completed ninety (90) days of perfect attendance from the last date of return to work from an absence due to sickness or accident, shall be paid S.T.D. from the first (1st) day for the first covered absence following the ninety (90) days of perfect attendance.
