Compensation and Benefits During FMLA. FMLA is an unpaid leave of absence, except to the extent the leave is for the employee's own serious health condition for which the employee may be eligible for sick leave and substitute differential pay. All Superintendent-paid insurance benefits will continue during the FMLA, up to the twelve (12) week maximum.
