Compensation Compaction Review Process and Outcomes a) Definition Compensation compaction exists when there is an insufficient difference in the compensation between a supervisory classification/position and its subordinate classification(s)/position(s). Compensation compaction becomes an issue for the County when the County’s Employee Services Agency (ESA) determines that a supervisor or manager is not compensated appropriately above subordinates for performance of supervisory duties and/or when it is difficult to recruit for a supervisory or management position because lower-level qualified employees believe that the added responsibility of a promotion is not worth the small difference in salary. Compaction can result from a classification study that increased the salary for a sub- ordinate classification or from contract negotiations that afforded the lower classification a significant realignment. Another factor found to contribute to compaction includes pay differentials that are available to the subordinate class but not to the supervisory classification. Even though the County does not have a policy stating a minimum percentage of salary difference between a supervisor and a subordinate classification, general compensation principles indicate that a supervisor with the same skill-set as a subordinate should earn more than the subordinate.

  • Staffing Plan 8.l The Board and the Association agree that optimum class size is an important aspect of the effective educational program. The Polk County School Staffing Plan shall be constructed each year according to the procedures set forth in Board Policy and, upon adoption, shall become Board Policy.

  • Configuration Management The Contractor shall maintain a configuration management program, which shall provide for the administrative and functional systems necessary for configuration identification, control, status accounting and reporting, to ensure configuration identity with the UCEU and associated cables produced by the Contractor. The Contractor shall maintain a Contractor approved Configuration Management Plan that complies with ANSI/EIA-649 2011. Notwithstanding ANSI/EIA-649 2011, the Contractor’s configuration management program shall comply with the VLS Configuration Management Plans, TL130-AD-PLN-010-VLS, and shall comply with the following:

  • Quality Assurance Program An employee shall be entitled to leave of absence without loss of earnings from her or his regularly scheduled working hours for the purpose of writing examinations required by the College of Nurses of Ontario arising out of the Quality Assurance Program.

  • Quality Assurance Plan The contractor shall develop and submit to NMFS a contractor Quality Assurance Plan, as referenced in Section F.5.3, which details how the contractor will ensure effectiveness and efficiency of collection efforts as well as the quality of data collected by its At-Sea Monitors. The contractor shall further establish, implement, and maintain a Quality Assurance Management program to ensure consistent quality of all work products and services performed under this contract.

  • Synchronization, Commissioning and Commercial Operation 4.1.1 The Power Producer shall give at least thirty (30) days written notice to the SLDC and GUVNL, of the date on which it intends to synchronize the Power Project to the Grid System.

  • Preventive Care and Early Detection Services This plan covers, early detection services, preventive care services, and immunizations or vaccinations in accordance with state and federal law, including the Affordable Care Act (ACA), as set forth below and in accordance with the guidelines of the following resources: • services that have an A or B rating in the current recommendations of the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force (USPSTF); • immunizations recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; • preventive care and screenings for infants, children, and adolescents as outlined in the comprehensive guidelines supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA); or • preventive care and screenings for women as outlined in the comprehensive guidelines as supported by HRSA. Covered early detection services, preventive care services and adult and pediatric immunizations or vaccinations are based on the most currently available guidelines and are subject to change. The amount you pay for preventive services will be different from the amount you pay for diagnostic procedures and non-preventive services. Preventive Office Visits This plan covers the following preventive office visits. • Annual preventive visit - one (1) routine physical examination per plan year per member age 36 months and older; • Pediatric preventive office and clinic visits from birth to 35 months - 11 visits; • Well Woman annual preventive visit - one (1) routine gynecological examination per plan year per female member.

  • Peer Assistance and Review Program 1. MCEA and MCPS agree to jointly operate a Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) Program. The PAR Program is a mechanism for maintaining systemwide quality control and ensuring that all MCPS teachers responsible for teaching students are functioning at or above the high MCPS standards of performance. It provides intensive assistance for any teacher who has not yet achieved that standard or who falls below acceptable standards. Assistance and review are provided to both experienced MCPS teachers in need of significant improvement and teachers in their first year of teaching.
