COMPENSATION, EXTRA SERVICES. 4.2.1 Fee proposals by the Design-Builder shall be reflective of actual effort necessary to design and document the condition identified in the extra service. 4.2.2 For Design-Builder’s extra services, as described in Section 3.0, the compensation to be paid will be identified as a part of the extra service. The basis of payment, either lump sum or hourly on a not to exceed basis, will also be identified.
