Compensation for Degrees Clause Samples
Compensation for Degrees. For each of the 2011-2016 contract years, there shall be funds equivalent to one percent (1.00%) of the base salary account for full-time teachers as of September 1st each year, to be used for the purpose of funding the Degree Scale payments as provided in Appendix G.

Compensation for Degrees. (a) For the 2007-2008 contract year, there shall be funds equivalent to one- quarter of one percent (0.25%) of the base salary account for full-time teachers as of September 1, 2007, to be used for the purpose of funding the Degree Scale payments as provided in Appendix G.
(b) For the 2008-2009 contract year, there shall be funds equivalent to one- half of one percent (0.50%) of the base salary account for full-time teachers as of September 1, 2008, to be used for the purpose of funding the Degree Scale payments as provided in Appendix G.
(c) For the 2009-2010 contract year, there shall be funds equivalent to three- quarters of one percent (.75%) of the base salary account for full-time teachers as of September 1, 2009, to be used for the purpose of funding the Degree Scale payments as provided in Appendix G.
(d) For the 2010-2011 contract year, there shall be funds equivalent to one percent (1.00%) of the base salary account for full-time teachers as of September 1, 2010,to be used for the purpose of funding the Degree Scale payments as provided in Appendix G. Compensation for Degrees. Employees who have earned a degree from an accredited college or university and has submitted a transcript to Human Resources upon hire or by July 1, will receive an annual pay enhancement (prorated upon hire or move to a WFSE represented position), based on the degree enhancement procedure. A pay enhancement of $150.00 will be paid annually if the employee’s highest degree is an associate degree. A pay enhancement of $250.00 will be paid annually if the employee’s highest degree is a bachelor’s degree. A pay enhancement of $350.00 will be paid annually if the employee’s highest degree is a master’s degree.
Compensation for Degrees. There will be no degree stipend paid for the 2016-2017, 2017-2018, and 2018-2019 school years. For 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 contract years, there shall be funds equivalent to one percent (1.00%) of the base salary account for full-time teachers as of September 1st each year, to be used for the purpose of funding the Degree Scale payments as provided in Appendix G.
