Common use of Compensation for Jury Duty Clause in Contracts

Compensation for Jury Duty. Employees requested to appear for jury qualifications or service shall receive their pay from the Employer for such time lost as a result of such appearance or service, less any compensation received for such jury service. Proof of attendance issued by the court is required. This provision will not apply to witness duty in a case against the Company or it’s customers.
