Health, Safety and Welfare. 4.1 Authorities have a duty to comply with the law governing the health, safety and welfare of employees, including the conditions under which they work and the provision and maintenance of necessary protective clothing.
4.2 Employees have a duty to take care of themselves and others affected by their activity at work and to co-operate with employers’ actions taken to meet their duties under the relevant Regulations.

Health, Safety and Welfare. The Governing Authority recognizes:
a. The authority of public health and safety officials to inspect the facilities of the School and to order the facilities closed if those officials f ind that the facilities are not in compliance with health and safety laws and regulations;
b. The authority of the Sponsor to suspend the operation of the School under ORC Section 3314.072, subject to the notice and due process requirements of that Section, if the Sponsor has evidence of conditions or violations of law at the School that pose an imminent danger to the health and safety of the School’s students and employees; and
c. The authority of ODE to suspend the operation of the School under ORC Section 3314.072 if the Sponsor fails to take such action.
Health, Safety and Welfare. 16.1 The Board shall strive to provide working conditions in a healthy and safe manner as prescribed by Federal, State and City regulations.
16.2 The Board expects that the worth, dignity, and rights of the individual shall be paramount in all professional relationships in order to xxxxxx a positive working climate. Professional relationships include employee to employee, employee to supervisor, supervisor to employee and employee to patrons and students.
16.3 An administrator who has received or is aware of an immediate threat of violence made towards a support employee working in the administrator’s building will take reasonable steps to promptly notify the support employee of such threat subject to state and federal law restrictions. Health, Safety and Welfare. The State and College shall provide and maintain safe working conditions relating to the health, welfare and safety of the employee and make a conscientious effort to maintain standards comparable with OSHA standards.
Health, Safety and Welfare. Prior to and during any job action the Union agrees to maintain sufficient numbers of critical employees to ensure that Burbank Water and Power supplies necessary services to maintain the health, safety and welfare of the community.

The Contractor/Vendor should provide all the Safety measures and his supervision to ensure safety at work site. Health, Safety and Welfare.
Section 1. Both the employer and the Federation affirm their commitment to cooperate in the maintenance of a safe and healthful working environment. To this end, any employee’s complaint of a health or safety nature shall be referred to Human Resources which shall attempt to resolve the complaint.
Section 2. Required uniforms or protective clothing. Any uniform, protective clothing, or other protective device required by the Employer shall be provided by the Employer.
Section 3. Evidence of hazardous, unsafe or unhealthy conditions. If evidence is presented to the employer of a hazardous, unsafe or unhealthy condition, the employer shall investigate the complaint and report its findings to the local safety committee and its intentions for remedy.
Section 4. Local Safety or LMC committee. A local safety or LMC committee including at least two Federation representatives will be responsible for reviewing accidents and potentially unsafe working conditions. The committee will attempt to determine the cause of accidents and identify unsafe working conditions and will make recommendations to management concerning accident prevention. The appropriate committee will periodically recommend updates and revisions to the safety equipment list.
Section 5. The employer shall provide and maintain a number of conducted energy weapons and equipment to safely operate the facility and to accommodate multiple transports and supervision of offenders off the facility grounds and other facility need as necessary. Each officer providing supervision of an offender off site shall be given the option to carry a conducted energy weapon. At a minimum, one officer providing transport for offenders off site shall carry a conducted energy weapon (Taser).

A. The health and safety of the employees shall be reasonably protected while in the service of the Employer. The Employer shall carry Workers Compensation on its employees. Employees are required to immediately report all personal injuries received in the course of employment, or as soon as the injury becomes apparent, except where an employee is unable to report.
