The Company shall compensate an Employee by the payment of an allowance pursuant to Schedule 2, to replace tools lost by breaking and entering whilst securely stored at the Company’s direction in a room or building on the Company’s premises, service van, job, workshop or in a lock-up.

Compensation for Loss of Tools. The Company shall compensate an Employee by the payment of an allowance pursuant to Schedule 2C, to replace tools lost by breaking and entering whilst securely stored at the Company’s direction in a room or building on the Company’s premises, service van, job, workshop or in a lock-up. This clause only applies where the Employee, at the request of the Company, has supplied the Company with a list of tools required to be kept on the job.

Provided that this Clause shall not apply if the Company has requested the Employee to supply the Company with a list of tools required to be kept on the job and the Employee has not supplied such a list. (*) See Schedule C for the amount to be paid.
