Crib Break. If an Employee works 2 hour or more of overtime, after working ordinary hours the Employee shall be allowed a crib break of 20 minutes at their normal finish time which shall be paid for at overtime rates. Where work continues for a further 4 hours, they shall be allowed another paid crib break of 20 minutes. It is the intention that Employees take applicable crib breaks when they are due.
Crib Break. (i) An employee required to work overtime on a week day for two hours or more after the usual ceasing time shall be allowed to take a crib time of twenty minutes in duration immediately after such ceasing time, or at another time convenient to employee and Company.
(ii) Where an employee is eligible to take a crib break, the Productivity Allowance contained in clause 17C includes provision for a payment for the break as well as a meal allowance.
(iii) For each subsequent four hours of continuous overtime work, he shall be allowed to take a further crib time of 30 minutes in duration; Payment for such crib breaks is incorporated in the Productivity Allowance provided in clause 17C.
Crib Break. For relevant employees, insert after clause 22.1 of this Enterprise Agreement:
Crib Break. No employees who work on either afternoon or night shift shall be required to work more than 5 hours without a paid crib break of 20 minutes duration.
Crib Break. Shift Workers as defined Saturday - A shift worker as defined, required to work on a Saturday outside the worker's ordinary shift hours, shall be allowed a crib break of twenty minutes, without deduction of pay, after each four hours worked if the employee continues work after such crib break.
Crib Break. An employee rostered to work the 10 Hour Daywork roster shall be allowed a 15 minutes paid crib break after the unpaid meal break. This crib break is to be taken flexibly with the approval of the Supervisor.
Crib Break. (a) Where the period of overtime is to exceed 1-1/2 hours an employee prior to starting such overtime after working ordinary hours, shall be allowed a crib break of twenty minutes which shall be paid for at ordinary rates.
(b) An employee working overtime after working ordinary hours shall be allowed a crib break of twenty minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked if the employee continues work after such crib break.
(c) EVONIK Degussa and its employee may agree to any variation of this clause to meet the circumstances of the work in hand provided that EVONIK Degussa shall not be required to make any payment in respect of any time allowed in excess of twenty minutes.
Crib Break. The Crib Break is a 30 minute period during which the employee is able to consume a meal, sustenance and/or refreshments. During a Crib Break the employee will be available for duty as and when required and if necessary will interrupt the Crib Break and re-engage in active duty. Quarantine Station Inspectors who are working an 8 hour shift (or 7 hour shift at Pinnaroo) shall be provided with a 30-minute Crib Break at or before the completion of 5 hours of work. The 30 minute Crib Break period is to be recorded in a Paid Day Off (PDO) time bank for the sole purpose of the employee taking a PDO at a time to be agreed between the employer and employee. Employees are required to take one PDO per 4 week period except as otherwise agreed between the employee and employer.
Crib Break. Where an employee is required to work on for greater than 1.5 hours after the designated shift finishing time, they will be provided with a 30-minute break or pay in lieu thereof considering the employee cannot work more than 5 hours without a break.
Crib Break. 21.1 In-yard agreements relating to flexibility with crib breaks allow employees to elect to extend the period of work before a crib break by up to an hour in exchange for which they are paid for the full shift but finish their shift early.
21.2 After two or more hours work following the end of a shift a meal allowance is to be paid in accordance with clause 8.2 of the Transport Workers (State) Award. Such allowance shall be calculated on the rates of pay specified in clause 14.0 of this agreement.
