Compensation Provisions for Employees Assigned to Standby Duty. 1. Any employee who is assigned to standby duty, shall receive $30 per day. 2. Any employee who is called back to work who is on standby, shall be paid at one-and-one-half (1½) times the employee’s normal hourly rate. 3. The time for call back begins when the employee receives the call. The time ends when the employee returns home.
