Common use of Compensation Rate Clause in Contracts

Compensation Rate. An employee scheduled for on-call duty shall be compensated at the rate of one (1) hour of base pay for each five (5) hours in on-call duty status. On-call hours shall not be considered hours worked for any purposes other than the payment provided herein, and no overtime payment shall be made for such on-call hours.
