Compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005The Service Provider shall ensure that all its employees, agents, volunteers, or others for whom the Service Provider is legally responsible receive training regarding the provision of the goods and services contemplated herein to persons with disabilities in accordance with Section 6 of Ontario Regulation 429/07 (the “Regulation”) made under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, as amended (the “Act”). The Service Provider shall ensure that such training includes, without limitation, a review of the purposes of the Act and the requirements of the Regulation, as well as instruction regarding all matters set out in Section 6 of the Regulation. The Service Provider shall submit to the City, as required from time to time, documentation describing its customer service training policies, practices and procedures, and a summary of its training program, together with a record of the dates on which training was provided and a list of the employees, agents volunteers or others who received such training. The City reserves the right to require the Service Provider to amend its training policies to meet the requirements of the Act and the Regulation.
Compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005. Lifemark shall ensure that all its employees, or others for whom Lifemark is legally responsible, receive training regarding the provision of the goods and services contemplated herein to persons with disabilities in accordance with the Customer Service Standards in the applicable Regulations (the "Regulation") made under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, as amended (the "Act"). Lifemark shall ensure that such training includes, without limitation, a review of the purposes of the Act and the requirements of the Regulation, as well as instruction regarding Customer Service Standards set out in the Regulation. Lifemark shall submit to the City, as required from time to time, documentation describing its customer service training policies, practices and procedures, and a summary of its training program, together with a record of the dates on which training was provided and a list of the employees, agents volunteers or others who received such training. The City reserves the right to require Lifemark to amend its training policies to meet the requirements of the Act and the Regulation.

  • Compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act Contractor shall provide the Services in a manner that complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including but not limited to Title II’s program access requirements, and all other applicable federal, state and local disability rights legislation.

  • Americans with Disabilities Act Compliance a. When the Project scope includes work on sidewalks, curb ramps, bike lanes, or pedestrian-activated signals or triggers an obligation to address curb ramps or pedestrian signals, the Parties shall: i. Utilize ODOT standards to assess and ensure Project compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 as amended (together, “ADA”), including ensuring that all sidewalks, curb ramps, and pedestrian-activated signals meet current ODOT Highway Design Manual standards; ii. Follow ODOT’s processes for design, construction, or alteration of sidewalks, curb ramps, and pedestrian-activated signals, including using the ODOT Highway Design Manual, ODOT Design Exception process, ODOT Standard Drawings, ODOT Construction Specifications, providing a temporary pedestrian accessible route plan and current ODOT Curb Ramp Inspection form; iii. At Project completion, send a completed ODOT Curb Ramp Inspection Form 734- 5020 to the address on the form as well as to State’s Project Manager for each curb ramp constructed or altered as part of the Project. The completed form is the documentation required to show that each curb ramp meets ODOT standards and is ADA compliant. ODOT’s fillable Curb Ramp Inspection Form and instructions are available at the following address: b. Agency shall ensure that any portions of the Project under Agency’s maintenance jurisdiction are maintained in compliance with the ADA throughout the useful life of the Project. This includes, but is not limited to, Agency ensuring that: i. Pedestrian access is maintained as required by the ADA, ii. Any complaints received by Agency identifying sidewalk, curb ramp, bike lanes, or pedestrian-activated signal safety or access issues are promptly evaluated and addressed,

  • Fair Employment Practices and Americans with Disabilities Act Party agrees to comply with the requirement of Title 21V.S.A. Chapter 5, Subchapter 6, relating to fair employment practices, to the full extent applicable. Party shall also ensure, to the full extent required by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended, that qualified individuals with disabilities receive equitable access to the services, programs, and activities provided by the Party under this Agreement. Party further agrees to include this provision in all subcontracts.

  • Americans with Disabilities Act The Contractor shall be and remain in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“Act”), to the extent applicable, during the term of the Contract. DAS may Terminate the Contract if the Contractor fails to comply with the Act.

  • AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA) Contractor must comply with the ADA, which provides comprehensive civil rights protection to individuals with disabilities in the areas of employment, public accommodations, state and local government services, and telecommunications.

  • Compliance with OFAC Rules and Regulations None of the Credit Parties or their Subsidiaries or their respective Affiliates (a) is a Sanctioned Person, (b) has more than 15% of its assets in Sanctioned Countries, or (c) derives more than 15% of its operating income from investments in, or transactions with Sanctioned Persons or Sanctioned Countries. No part of the proceeds of any Extension of Credit hereunder will be used directly or indirectly to fund any operations in, finance any investments or activities in or make any payments to, a Sanctioned Person or a Sanctioned Country.

  • Compliance with Federal Law, Regulations, and Executive Orders This is an acknowledgement that FEMA financial assistance will be used to fund all or a portion of the contract. The contractor will comply with all applicable Federal law, regulations, executive orders, FEMA policies, procedures, and directives.

  • Certification of Compliance with the Energy Policy and Conservation Act When appropriate and to the extent consistent with the law, Vendor certifies that it will comply with the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (42 U.S.C. 6321 et seq; 49 C.F.R. Part 18) and any mandatory standards and policies relating to energy efficiency which are contained in applicable state energy conservation plans issued in compliance with the Act. Does Vendor agree?   • Compliance with Accessibility Standards All parties to this Agreement shall ensure that the plans for and the construction of all projects subject to this Agreement are in compliance with standards issued or approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) as meeting or consistent with minimum accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (P.L. 101-336) (ADA).

  • COMPLIANCE WITH OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH By submission of a bid in response to this solicitation, the Bidder certifies that all material, equipment, etc., contained in their bid meets all OSHA requirements. Bidder further certifies that if they are the awarded Contractor, and the material, equipment, etc., delivered is subsequently found to be deficient in any OSHA requirements in effect on date of delivery, all costs necessary to bring the material, equipment, etc., into compliance with the aforementioned requirements shall be borne by the Contractor.
