Common use of Composition of Board Clause in Contracts

Composition of Board. Should the parties fail to settle any grievance, or dispute whatsoever, arising between the Employer and the Union, or the employees concerned, such difference, grievance or dispute, including any question as to whether any matter is arbitrable, but excluding renegotiation of the Agreement shall, at the notice given by either party, be referred to the arbitration, determination and award of an Arbitration Board of one (1) member. Such Board shall be deemed to be a Board of Arbitration within the meaning of the Labour Code of British Columbia.
