Concrete Curb. In accordance with the requirements of Section 202 of the DPW Standard Specifications.
Concrete Curb. This bid item shall be paid on a linear foot (LF) basis. Curb to be measured along the face of the curb, and no additional compensation shall be allowed for radial curb. This price shall include excavation and disposal of existing material; backfill and compaction of VDOT 21A Aggregate; forming using steel forms in good condition (including face form), placement, finishing, curing, and hot/cold weather protection of concrete; expansion and crack control joints, neat sawcutting of existing pavement; and asphalt restoration in front of the curb/gutter system. Also included in the price; demolition of existing concrete, demolition to provide a neat, uniform tie-in, demolition of existing pavements and shoulder restoration behind the curb. Curb, and curb and gutter shall be installed in accordance with Plans and VDOT RBS.
Concrete Curb. Concrete curbing is required at all public road entrances.
