Conduct of Evaluations. 17.5.1 All observations and assessments shall be conducted openly and with full knowledge of the Probationary Unit Member. 17.5.2 Any assessment or recommendation incorporated as part of the evaluation process under this Article shall specifically address, and be confined to, the results of observation, procedures and criteria in accordance with the provisions of this Article. Nothing in this Article shall prohibit appropriate administrative action relative to a Probationary Unit Member’s performance under other circumstances as provided in Article 4, section 4.6. 17.5.3 All information arising in conjunction with the evaluation process shall be held in strict confidence by the parties involved.
