Time Lines. A grievance will be deemed untimely if the time limits set forth above for presentation of a grievance to a step are not met, unless the parties agree in writing to extend such time limits.

Time Lines. Action to grieve must be initiated in writing within ten (10) work days after the grievant determines that informal discussion has not been effective and/or upon discovery of a problem or condition affecting employment. Review and action by the administrator receiving the grievance must be initiated within ten (10) work days of receipt of the written appeal. Time lines may be extended by mutual agreement.

All time limits laid down in Part III of this Agreement, including the limits for the arbitration panels to notify their rulings, shall be counted in calendar days from the day following the act or fact to which they refer. 2.
