Conference Meetings. Meetings of the Directors held by means of a telephone conference which enables all persons participating in the meeting to hear each other at the same time and to communicate with each other shall be valid as if they were attended by all Directors in person. Such participation by any Director shall constitute presence in person at the meeting by such Director. All meetings of the Directors shall enable Directors to participate by means of telephone conference.

Conference Meetings. A. Anytime the Employer, or his representative, conducts a conference or meeting which the employees are required to attend, said meeting shall be conducted at a time that is most appropriate for everyone concerned. When possible, meetings will be held during the employee's normal working hours, or at least partially during working hours. Employees not on duty at the time of the meetings will be expected to attend unless excused by the appropriate supervisor. The time of the meetings will be set based upon the ability to complete the work necessary to be completed by a specified time. If it is necessary to call a meeting after regular working hours, the meeting will be called for immediately after the regular work shift if at all possible. Meetings will be with pay for required after hours meetings only. No pay will be given for those who do not attend. Those without valid excuse shall face disciplinary action for missing the meeting.
Conference Meetings. One or more directors may participate in a meeting of the board, or of a committee of the board, by means of conference telephone or other communications equipment by means of which all persons participating in the meeting can hear each other. Participation in a meeting pursuant to this section shall constitute presence in person at such meeting.
Conference Meetings. The Contractor shall be responsible for taking notes and preparing meeting minutes for each conferences or meetings. Conference/meeting notes shall be typed and furnished to the Government within seven (7) business days after date of the event for comments or concurrence. If there are comments, the notes shall be revised and returned for Government review within three (3) business days. Distribution of the report, which was developed from the notes, should occur within three (3) business day of receipt of concurrence to all attendees. The report from the meeting/conference shall include a roster of attendees with name, organization, title, and contact information, and comments and decisions made affecting criteria changes and items discussed. The meeting attendees shall review and provide clarifications or corrections to the report within three (3) business days, and the Contractor shall publish a final report within three (3) business days of receipt of any clarifications/corrections.

  • Meetings Meetings of the Trustees shall be held from time to time upon the call of the Chairman, if any, or the President or any two Trustees. Regular meetings of the Trustees may be held without call or notice at a time and place fixed by the By-Laws or by resolution of the Trustees. Any committee of the Trustees, including an executive committee, if any, may act with or without a meeting. A quorum for all meetings of any such committee shall be one-third, but not less than two, of the members thereof. Unless provided otherwise in this Declaration, any action of any such committee may be taken at a meeting by vote of a majority of the members present (a quorum being present) or without a meeting by written consent of all of the members. With respect to actions of the Trustees and any committee of the Trustees, Trustees who are Interested Persons in any action to be taken may be counted for quorum purposes under this Section and shall be entitled to vote to the extent not prohibited by the 1940 Act. All or any one or more Trustees may participate in a meeting of the Trustees or any committee thereof by means of a conference telephone or similar communications equipment by means of which all persons participating in the meeting can hear each other; participation in a meeting pursuant to any such communications system shall constitute presence in person at such meeting.

  • Board Meetings The Superintendent shall attend, and shall be permitted to attend, all meetings of the Board, both public and closed, with the exception of those closed meetings devoted to the consideration of any action or lack of action on the Superintendent's Contract, or the Superintendent's evaluation, or for purposes of resolving conflicts between individual Board members, or when the Board is acting in its capacity as a tribunal. In the event of illness or Board-approved absence, the Superintendent's designee shall attend such meetings.

  • Open Meetings (a) All scheduled meetings of the Employer shall be open meetings, except in those cases where personnel, financial or other matters require that the meeting be considered confidential. (b) In those cases where a meeting is designated confidential, the Union shall be provided with a reason for such designation. (c) A designated member of the Union shall be provided a copy of the agenda and minutes of all open meetings. (d) Notwithstanding 18.04(b), any faculty member may request that an Union representative attend as an observer at meetings where the faculty member reasonably believes their working conditions under Article 12 will be affected.   • Committee Meetings ‌ All meetings of the said Committee on Labour Relations with the Union Committee and the Secretary- Business Manager, or her/his representative, shall be under the chairpersonship of a member of the Committee on Labour Relations. Meetings shall be held at the call of the Chairperson as promptly as possible on request in writing of either party. The Employer and the Union shall make every effort to exchange written agendas at least one (1) week prior to meetings called under Article 8.04.
