Grievance Meetings definition

Grievance Meetings. A local officer or xxxxxxx shall be permitted to investigate and process a grievance and attend the meetings as provided in the grievance procedure during their working hours without loss of regular pay and such activity shall be with proper regard to the College’s operational needs and work requirements. All local officers and stewards shall cooperate in good faith with the College in keeping to a minimum the time lost from work due to grievance handling. An employee grievant and one employee representative shall be permitted to attend grievance meetings and arbitration hearings without loss of pay when such are scheduled during the employee’s regular working hours. A non-employee OPBA representative shall also be permitted to attend such.

Examples of Grievance Meetings in a sentence

  • The Employer shall supply the necessary facilities for the Grievance Meetings.

  • Grievance Meetings at Step 1 and Step 2 shall be held during the grievant’s shift hours or immediately before or immediately after said shift hours, as reasonably determined by the Chief.

  • The cost of administering Step II Grievance Meetings, including the retention of a mediator to facilitate resolution of grievances, shall be borne equally by the RAB and the Union.

  • At National Grievance Meetings, matters of common concern may be discussed and recorded in the minutes of the meeting.

  • Grievance Committee members will be allowed time off without loss of pay to attend Grievance Meetings with Management.

  • The Company will recognize the Grievance Committee for the purpose of attending Grievance Meetings with Management at step 3 of the Grievance Procedure.

  • The Chief Xxxxxxx or his alternate will be paid regular rate for all time spent at Labour Management Meetings and Grievance Meetings.

  • The Board shall supply the necessary facilities for Grievance Meetings.

Related to Grievance Meetings

  • Grievance Committee means the Grievance Committee of the Bar.

  • Meetings means the meetings of Affected Unsecured Creditors in the Unsecured Creditor Classes in respect of each Participating CCAA Party called for the purposes of considering and voting in respect of the Plan, which has been set by the Amended and Restated Meetings Order to take place at the times, dates and locations as set out in the Amended and Restated Meetings Order;

  • Committee Meeting means a meeting of the Committee.

  • JRC has the meaning set forth in Section 2.2.

  • Board Meeting means a meeting of the Board;

  • Prehearing conference means a proceeding scheduled and conduc- ted by a hearing officer to address issues in preparation for a formal administrative hearing.

  • JSC has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1.

  • JDC has the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.

  • JCC has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1.

  • Hearing Committee means the committee appointed pursuant to this Plan to hear a request for an evidentiary hearing that has been properly filed and pursued by a practitioner.

  • Grievance means a complaint in writing that an employee, group of employees, or the Union submits to management, to be processed through the grievance procedure.

  • Meeting means any meeting of:

  • Pre-bid Meeting means Pre-bid meeting to be held as per the schedule indicated in the Schedule for the Tender hereof;

  • relevant meeting means a meeting of the authority to consider whether or not to approve a proposal to dismiss a relevant officer; and

  • Steering Committee shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.1.

  • Court Meeting means the meeting(s) of the Scheme Shareholders to be convened by order of the Court pursuant to section 896 of the Companies Act, notice of which will be set out in the Scheme Document, for the purpose of approving the Scheme, including any adjournment thereof;

  • Grievances filed under this Article shall begin at Step 2. Grievances under this clause shall be handled with all possible confidentiality and dispatch.

  • hybrid meeting means a general meeting convened for the (i) physical attendance by shareholders and/or proxies at the Principal Meeting Place and where applicable, one or more Meeting Locations and (ii) virtual attendance and participation by shareholders and/or proxies by means of electronic facilities;

  • Search Committee means the Search Committee set up by the Senate under section 15 (2);

  • labour inspector means a labour inspector appointed under section 63 of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, 1997 (Act No. 75 of 1997);

  • Grievance Procedure is used in this Agreement, it shall be considered as including the arbitration procedure.

  • Scheme Meeting means such meeting(s) (and any adjournment or postponement thereof) convened with the permission of the Court pursuant to section 896 of the Companies Act for the purpose of considering and, if thought fit, approving (with or without modification) the Scheme of Arrangement.

  • Grievance System means the overall system that includes:

  • Multidisciplinary team means a group of individuals who possess knowledge and skills related to the diagnosis, assessment, and disposition of child abuse cases and who are professionals practicing in the disciplines of medicine, nursing, public health, substance abuse, domestic violence, mental health, social work, child development, education, law, juvenile probation, or law enforcement, or a group established pursuant to section 235B.1, subsection 1.

  • Minutes means the minutes of a meeting of the board of directors of each Company held on 16 April 2014, 12 September 2014, 21 May 2015, 18 September 2015, 13 May 2016 and 9 December 2016;
