CONFORMITY TO LAW - SAVING CLAUSE. A. If any provision of this Agreement is or shall at any time be contrary to law, then such provision shall not be applicable or performed or enforced, except to the extent permitted by law and any substitute action shall be subject to appropriate consultation and negotiation with the Union.
B. In the event that any provision of this Agreement is or shall at any time be contrary to law, all other provisions of this Agreement shall continue in effect.
C. If the Board delegates any of its authority or functions to a community school board, the terms of this Agreement, insofar as applicable, shall be binding upon the community school board to the extent permitted by law. ARTICLE XXX COPY OF AGREEMENT The parties will have available copies of this Agreement upon request.
CONFORMITY TO LAW - SAVING CLAUSE. 34.1 If any provision of this Agreement is or shall at any time be contrary to law, then such provision shall not be applicable or performed or enforced, and substitute language, if any, shall be subject to negotiation between the parties.
34.2 In the event that any provision of the Agreement is or shall at any time be contrary to law, all other provisions of this Agreement shall continue in effect.

CONFORMITY TO LAW - SAVING CLAUSE. A. The parties mutually agree that the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement represent the full and complete understanding and commitment between the parties hereto which may be altered, changed, added to, deleted from, or modified only through the voluntary, mutual consent of the parties in an amendment hereto.
B. Should any article, section, or clause of this Agreement be declared illegal by a court of competent jurisdiction, or the IEERB, said article, section, or clause, as the case may be, shall be automatically deleted from this Agreement to the extent that it violates the law, but the remaining articles, sections and clauses shall remain in full force and effect for the duration of the Agreement, if not affected by the deleted article, section, or clause.

If any provision of this Contract or any application of this contract to any certificated employee or group of certificated employees shall be found contrary to law by a court of jurisdiction, such provision or application shall not be deemed valid except to the extent permitted by law, but all other provisions or applications shall continue in full force and effect. If any provision of the contract is so held to be contrary to law, either party may notify the other party that it wishes to negotiate the matter.
CONFORMITY TO LAW - SAVING CLAUSE. The parties hereto shall comply with all provisions of this Agreement unless and until any provision or provisions are held to be contrary to law by legislation, by the Court of Appeals of the State of New York or any lower court of competent jurisdiction from whose judgment no appeal has been permitted or taken by the aggrieved party. In the event any provision or provisions hereof are so held to be unlawful, the remaining provisions of this Agreement shall remain in effect and the parties hereto shall meet forthwith for the purpose of modifying provisions in lieu thereof.
