Consequences of Refusal to Submit to a Drug Test. A. Applicants for NJIT law enforcement officer employment who refuse to submit to a drug test during the pre-employment process shall be immediately removed from consideration for law enforcement officer employment and barred from consideration for future NJIT law enforcement officer employment. In addition, NJIT shall forward the applicant’s name to the Central Drug Registry and note that the individual refused to submit to a drug test.
