Common use of Construction Observation Clause in Contracts

Construction Observation. a. The Landscape Architect shall observe the work of the Contractor at intervals as specified when construction is in progress. These observations are not intended to be detailed or exhaustive inspections of the work of the Contractor or Owner’s staff, but are instead to allow the Landscape Architect to determine whether the work generally conforms to the design concept.
