Common use of Consultative Arrangements Clause in Contracts

Consultative Arrangements. 33.1 The parties agree that consultative arrangements between the employer, employees and the UWU to discuss local matters affecting employees are desirable. 33.2 As part of this process, the employer and the UWU may agree to set up consultative arrangements at a work site to facilitate local discussions between representatives of management and the UWU relating to the effective operation of this Agreement at that work site (including, but not limited to, matters such as hours of work, amenities and equipment). 33.3 The UWU acknowledges the right of market and social research employers to collect and utilise data on employee performance and to monitor terminals equipment for this purpose. ADIA also acknowledges the UWU’s concern to protect the rights of employees in relation to the use of data derived from terminal monitoring where it affects the private rights of employees.
