Common use of Continuances Clause in Contracts

Continuances. 2065 The arbitrator may grant a continuance of any hearing upon 2066 such terms and conditions as he/she may deem proper. The 2067 employee shall remain on unpaid suspension for the period 2068 of any continuance. Any request for continuance made less 2069 than 48 hours prior to the time set for the hearing will be 2070 denied unless good cause is shown for the continuance.
