Continuation of Coverage Option. If:  You become permanently and totally disabled while insured; and  You have not attained age 65; and  You have either:  10 or more years of Credited Service in the Non-Contributory Pension Plan for Weekly-Paid Employees and you do not elect to receive your life insurance in 50 consecutive monthly instalments as set out above, or  Less than 10 years of Credited Service in the Non-Contributory Plan for Hourly-Paid Employees, Then your life insurance will remain in force as long as you remain so disabled provided proofs of disability are furnished as required. The first proof should be filed with the Insurance Company within three months after total disability has lasted nine months. Subsequent proofs of disability must be furnished each year thereafter. This life insurance ceases at age 65. Accidental death and dismemberment insurance will be discontinued when you become permanently and totally disabled unless you are in receipt of Sickness and Accident, Extended Disability, Maternity Top-Up or WSIB Benefits.

  • Continuation of Coverage If your coverage is terminated, you may be eligible to continue your coverage in accordance with state or federal law. Continuation of Coverage According to State Law In accordance with R.I. General Laws §. 27-19.1, if your employment is terminated due to one of the following reason, your healthcare coverage may be continued, provided that you continue to pay the applicable premiums. • Involuntary layoff or death; • The workplace ceasing to exist; or • Permanent reduction in size of the workforce. The period of this continuation will be for up to eighteen (18) months from your termination date, but not to exceed the period of continuous employment preceding termination with your employer. The continuation period will end for any person covered under your policy on the date the person becomes employed by another group and is eligible for benefits under that group’s plan.

  • Termination of Coverage This Contract may be terminated as follows:

  • Duration of Coverage All required insurance shall be maintained during the entire term of the Agreement.   • Term of Coverage Except as otherwise specified in the contract, the insurance will commence on or prior to the effective date of the contract and will be maintained in force throughout the duration of the contract. Completed operations coverage may be required to be maintained on specific commercial general liability policies effective on the date of substantial completion or the termination of the contract, whichever is earlier. If a policy is written on a claims made form, the retroactive date must be shown and this date must be before the earlier of the date of the execution of the contract or the beginning of contract work, and the coverage must respond to all claims reported within three years following the period for which coverage is required unless stated otherwise in the contract.

  • Continuation of Optional Coverages During Unpaid Leave or Layoff An employee who takes an unpaid leave of absence or who is laid off may discontinue premium payments on optional policies during the period of leave or layoff. If the employee returns within one (1) year, the employee shall be permitted to pick up all optionals held prior to the leave or layoff. For purposes of reinstating such optional coverages, the following limitations shall be applicable. For the first twenty-four (24) months of long-term disability coverage after such a period of leave or layoff during which long-term disability coverage was discontinued, any such disability coverage shall exclude coverage for pre-existing conditions. For disability purposes, a pre-existing condition is defined as any disability which is caused by, or results from, any injury, sickness or pregnancy which occurred, was diagnosed, or for which medical care was received during the period of leave or layoff. In addition, any pre-existing condition limitations that would have been in effect under the policy but for the discontinuance of coverage shall continue to apply as provided in the policy. The limitations set forth above do not apply to leaves that qualify under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).

  • Continuation of Lease In the event of any Default by Tenant, then in addition to any other remedies available to Landlord at law or in equity and under this Lease, Landlord shall have the remedy described in California Civil Code Section 1951.4 (Landlord may continue this Lease in effect after Tenant’s Default and abandonment and recover Rent as it becomes due, provided tenant has the right to sublet or assign, subject only to reasonable limitations).

  • Continuation of Services The Contractor shall work with the current Subcontractor prior to cancellation date to ensure all consumer needs are identified and appropriate placements and transportation needs, as applicable, have been arranged. The Subcontractor shall maintain communication with the Contractor on the process of transferring consumers until all consumers are placed.
