Continuing Contract. TEACHERS The following procedure will be used to help continuing contract teachers correct deficiencies prior to the implementation of the formal NEAT Procedure. 16.1-1 NOTICE - written notice to the individual that deficiencies exist which, if not corrected, could lead to the implementation of the formal NEAT Procedure. 16.1-2 EXPLANATION - Full and complete explanation of deficiencies and suggested corrections. 16.1-3 ASSISTANCE - Administrative and supervisory assistance offered and provided. 16.1 4 TIME - Reasonable time provided for correction of deficiencies.
