Common use of Contract Provision Alleged to Have Been Violated Clause in Contracts

Contract Provision Alleged to Have Been Violated. If, at any time 15 subsequent to initial presentation of the grievance, the grievant or Association believes 16 contract provision(s) additional to those described upon initial presentation have been 17 violated, the grievant or Association shall file an amended grievance specifying the 18 additional contract provision(s) alleged to be violated and stating the reasons for 19 believing such provision(s) have been violated. After advancing the grievance to 20 arbitration under Section 7.6, the Association can call for reconvening of the parties if 21 any additional contract provisions are alleged to be violated based upon the discovery 22 of additional information. If the Association does not notify the Medical Center, the 23 grievance cannot be amended at arbitration.
