Contractor’s Office. Contractor shall maintain an office with a telephone in the Contractor's name where Contractor conducts business while offsite. During the hours of8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Pacific Time), Monday through Friday, at least one employee must be available to respond to inquiries and complaints that may be received about the Contractor's performance of the Contract. Outside these hours, an answering service shall be provided to receive calls. Contractor shall answer calls received by the answering service the next business day for non-emergency calls and within two (2) hours of receipt of emergency calls, as specified by the County. Contractor shall comply with County's Criminal background investigation for all Contractor and subcontractor employees assigned. All Contractor and subcontractor staffperforming work under this Contract shall undergo and pass, to the satisfaction of the County, a background investigation as a condition of beginning and continuing to work under the Contract. The County shall use its discretion in determining the method of background clearance to be used, which may include but not be limited to fingerprinting or other methods deemed appropriate.
