Contributions toward Educational and Community Outreach. Starting on the Effective Date, the Company will commence making a minimum contribution of Fifty Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($50,000.00) each year to WCPA (the “Education and Outreach Contributions”), to be made in quarterly payments no later than thirty (30) days following the beginning of each calendar year quarter. WCPA shall use the Education and Outreach Contributions solely for the implementation of matching programs in support of educational and community outreach programs in the arts to benefit youth, schools, minorities and community groups in the Greater Boston area, including, where possible, the municipalities of Xxxxxx, Xxxx, Chelsea, and Winthrop and the neighborhood of East Boston. The Company will have the right to provide guidance and input on which programs and communities are served by the Education and Outreach Contributions and the Company will have the right to receive any credit and/or naming opportunities that it requests in connection with such programs. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, if, after two (2) years from the Effective Date, the Company has not yet received an Actionable License, the Company may suspend payment of any Education and Outreach Contributions under this Agreement until such time as the Company either receives an Actionable License or this Agreement is terminated.

  • Outreach and Education The agencies agree to coordinate, conduct joint outreach presentations, and prepare and distribute publications, when appropriate, for the regulated community of common concern. • The agencies agree to work with each other to provide a side-by-side comparison of laws with overlapping provisions and jurisdiction. • The agencies agree to provide a hyperlink on each agency’s website linking users directly to the outreach materials in areas of mutual jurisdiction and concern. • The agencies agree to jointly disseminate outreach materials to the regulated community, when appropriate. • All materials bearing the DOL or DOL/WHD name, logo, or seal must be approved in advance by DOL. • All materials bearing the OEAS name, logo, or seal must be approved in advance by OEAS.

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • Health Promotion and Health Education Both parties to this Agreement recognize the value and importance of health promotion and health education programs. Such programs can assist employees and their dependents to maintain and enhance their health, and to make appropriate use of the health care system. To work toward these goals:

  • Educational Assistance Section 1. Tuition reimbursement shall be provided to employees covered by this collective bargaining AGREEMENT under the same terms and conditions, policies and procedures as the rest of Hennepin County and reflecting a county–wide pool for funding. Where courses are required and certified by the appointing authority as essential to current job performance, such appointing authority shall grant 100% reimbursement for tuition, required fees and required study materials. Section 3. At the request of an employee, an Individual Development Plan shall be established. Any employee making the request shall be provided with paid time to work with their Supervisor or Human Resources to develop a training plan for career development within Hennepin County. Human Resources will be a source of career information, and postings, in which the employee may have an interest. Time allotted for this activity and the training plan adopted shall be subject to mutual agreement of the Employee and Supervisor.
