Counselors and School Psychologists. 3.7.1 Counselors shall be employed for a period of ten (10) days in addition to the teacher’s work year, and shall be compensated at the individual’s per diem of pay for each day worked. (See Article 3.5). DIS Counselors and School Psychologists shall be employed on an “as needed” basis (as determined by the District) for a period of up to ten (10) days in addition to the teacher’s work year, and shall be compensated at the individual’s per diem rate of pay for each day worked. Any additional days of work will be determined with the mutual consent of the employee and the District.
