Psychologists. Psychologists hired by the Employer, with no prior years of experience as a school psychologist, teacher, or prior years of military service shall be placed on Step 1 of the salary schedule effective July 1, 1990. Credit for combined years of prior experience as a school psychologist, teacher, and active military service experience shall be allowed at a rate of one (1) year for each twelve (12) months of continuous service up to a maximum of eight (8) years, as per credit requirements in Salary guidelines. Retroactive to the 2000 – 2001 school year, for new school psychologists, credit for combined years of prior experience as a school psychologist, teacher, and active military service experience shall be allowed at a rate of one (1) year for each twelve
Psychologists. There shall be a minimum of thirteen (13) F.T.E.
Psychologists ten (10) days in addition to (a) and (b) above. Three (3) days will be used between August 15 and the start of the school year. One (1) day will be used immediately after the school year. The remaining six (6) days will be scheduled at the discretion of the psychologist to complete student evaluations/re-evaluations and meet timelines as required by state and federal law and such professional duties, including, but not limited to, consulting with staff on behavioral strategies, social behavioral instructional programming for students, development of progress monitoring systems, and consultation on tiered interventions.
Psychologists. NASP-NCSP (National Association of School Psychologists-National Certified School Psychologist). Social Workers: LSW, LGSW, LISW, or LICSW (Minnesota Board of Social Work-Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Graduate Social Worker, Licensed Independent Social Worker, or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker). Speech Language Pathologists: ASHA-CCC-SLP (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology).
Psychologists. Staffing district-wide at a 1.0 FTE psychologist per 1000 students and a 1.0 FTE psychologist per 750 students at buildings with Positive-Behavior Support (Achieve) programs. Assignment of school psychologist FTE to buildings shall be determined after consulting with the school psychologists as a group on the unique needs and caseloads of particular buildings. Students who are birth to 3 and 18 to 21 years of age shall count on the psychologist staffing calculation above.
Psychologists. Non-Certificated Personnel
Psychologists. When psychologist positions become vacant, psychologists presently employed by Oakland Public Schools for less than full-time shall be given first consideration in filling these positions.
Psychologists. Psychologists shall be responsible for at least three (3) evaluations or reeval- uations per week unless prevented from doing so by circumstances beyond their control.
Psychologists. 1:25 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays;
Psychologists. All psychologists should have HPC registration and be chartered with British Psychological Society. Psychologists should be sufficiently experienced in weight loss surgery, mental health and disordered eating behaviour. Ability to conduct an assessment to establish the individual’s ability to implement necessary health behaviour changes for weight loss post-surgery through therapeutic approaches such as Motivational Interviewing and Stages of Changes. Experienced in identifying the individual emotional, cognitive and behavioural factors that may influence weight loss and be able to provide individual recommendations to improve weight loss and QoL outcomes. Ability to make recommendations for more complex patients that potentially may require psychological intervention pre and/or post-surgery for anxiety, depression and binge-eating. Able to train other health professionals in facilitation of health behaviour change.
