Common use of COUNTY RIGHTS Clause in Contracts

COUNTY RIGHTS. The County retains the exclusive right to make all managerial and administrative decisions including, but not limited to, the nature and extent of services to be performed, the methods, means and personnel by which its operations are to be conducted, and such other decisions as may be necessary to organize and operate in the most efficient manner. Such rights shall also include the right to manage and direct the workforce, including the right to hire, select, discipline, transfer, and assign work. Nothing in this provision shall be construed to restrict grievances concerning this agreement or to limit or waive the rights of the parties pursuant to law or this agreement.
